Ever since rumours about the Payload Mode in PUBG MOBILE broke out, fans have been looking forward to try their hands out in this new mode that offers air-to-air combat for players. The version 0.15.0 update, which came out last week, was supposed to bring the new Payload Mode and after a brief waiting period, it's finally here. The Payload Mode in PUBG MOBILE is now active and you can try your hands on it under the Arcade tab.

The Payload Mode offers helicopters and rocket launchers in the game to take the fight to the skies. Players can use helicopters to fly around and attack, like in Grand Theft Auto games, while opponents on the ground will be able to shoot them down using rocket launchers and grenade launchers. The new mode also brings in some co-op features for squads.

Players will be dropped on Erangel in the same old PUBG way but they will be treated to different kinds of loots that include rocket launchers, grenade launchers and special guns to bring down helicopters and opponents. Upon further exploration, players will also be able to find and use helicopters as in-game weapons. And with a squad, this can prove to be a deadly weapon combo for opponents.

Luckily for others, the map offers a lot of loots with anti-air weapons to bring down airborne opponents. And to spice up the gameplay, the map will have a couple of spots with Super Weapon Box that will offer rare weapons to players. These box locations will be marked on the map with special beacons.

Additionally, players will also be able to revive their mates if they are eliminated from the match. After a player is eliminated, the game will offer a tag for the new few moments which needs to be collected by one of the teammates. Once the tag is collected, the player needs to bring to the nearest communication tower and the game will them spawn the eliminated player back in the match. The concept is quite similar to the one in Call of Duty Mobile.

The mode is currently active under the Arcade tab and is available for everyone. There's no additional download required if players have already downloaded the version
